Some of our building projects

Let’s take a quick look at some of the projects we have completed successfully in different towns and cities across the Midlands.

In Birmingham, we were tasked with completing the refurbishment of a neglected Victorian terraced cottage, retaining various original features whilst providing the property with a contemporary edge. This refurbishment was completed in just 10 weeks.

In Solihull, we worked on a first-floor extension, using elaborate roofed scaffolding to ensure the existing room remained weatherproof. We carefully matched the brickwork to ensure the appearance was as seamless as possible.

We also worked on a kitchen and dining room refurbishment in Redditch, opening up the available space in order to create a bigger area for cooking and dining. As part of this project, one of the house’s original features – a store cupboard, was transformed into a full-length window, bring valuable natural light into the kitchen. New flooring, electrics and lighting were added before the kitchen, designed by a leading local professional, was fitted. The clients said they were “over the moon” with the kitchen.

Another well-received new building project was the rear extension of a bungalow in Bromsgrove. Before work commenced, we were asked to extend the rear to boost the size of the master bedroom and add a new en-suite bathroom. The customers opted for a three-sided hipped roof, which was cut and formed on site. Again, we ensured the new and old bricks blended as convincingly as possible. The clients later returned to us for additional work on their home.

Finally, a client in Droitwich asked us to convert an old Victorian coal store. This project involved a relaxing sun room being created to give the owner a better view of their garden and was linked to their home. Though the room was not habitable at first, we updated it to ensure insulation, ventilation and damp proofing rules were adhered to. The client told us they were “delighted” with the result.
